WHEN DOES THE SHARE START? 

The summer 2024 share starts June 12th and 13th, depending on your pickup day. It runs for 20 weeks and ends the weel of October 20th

CAN I TAKE VACATION? ​

Yes! you can take as many vacations as you like! if you have prepaid you will get credit that you can use in the online store or transfer it to a proceeding season. 

If you have opted for monthly payments, you won't get charged for a vacation if it falls after your four week payment. 

DO YOU CHARGE FOR VACATIONS

No!  

I HAD CREDIT FROM LAST YEAR. WHERE IS IT? 

Unfortunately farmigo can't carry over credit from the preceding year. We have to manually carry that credit over. It is up to you to let us know you have credit to use. Simply email us with your request and we will be happy to carry it over. 

I EMAILED YOU AND DIDN'T GET A RESPONSE!

Sorry! We do our best to respond to emails within a day or two, but sometimes we get busy on the farm and some emails fall through the cracks. If we've missed your email, please email us again. You can also give us a text at 819.664.6729. 

IS IT TRUE I CAN CHOOSE WHAT I WANT IN MY SHARE? 

Yes! We will load up your basket on Friday morning. You have until Monday morning at 6am to adjust what's in the basket. We will have what's available in  the "CSA Items" section of our online farm store (on farmigo). 

Follow the instructions and link in your "what's in your share" email to adjust your basket content. 

WHY IS FARMIGO SO CONFUSING

We know Farmigo is not the most slick software out there. We've hummed and hawwed about switcching to something more sophisticated but honestly the charges for other softwares are much higher. So We've stuck it out so you're paying for veggies, not software. 

If we made the CSA a set price an did not allow for any vacations or add-ons, Your account would be crystal clear. 

Because we allow free vacations at any time and add-ons, but still ask for payment up front your acount will likely change over the season. Sometimes you may endup with credit (if you go on vacation and don't add on extras) or you may end up with an additional charge at the end (if you buy more things than you have credit for)

We you work hard for your money. This is exactly why we offer flexibility and why we use a software to manage your account. The calculations and deductions are 100% based on the veggies you recieve.

If you are confused about your charges, we are happy to break it down for you. 

WHY CAN'T WE PAY WEEK TO WEEK? 

Although the Community Shared Agriculture (CSA) model has changed for us (become more flexible for the customer) we still have a lot of up front costs and risks. By purchasing your share up front we are guaranteed that the vegetables we grow are bought and consumed. This takes a huge variability off the table in an industry that has increasing variability. 

It also allows you to avoid using credit card, which charges extra. We can not absorb credit card fees, so you are saving money by paying up front with debit, if you choose that payment plan.  

WHAT IF YOU HAVE A CROP FAILURE

WE grow a LOT Of different vegetables. If we have a crop failure in on crop we have many other crops to send your way. WE also will buy in crops as needed.  

We have a super team of farmers with many years of experience on our team working hard to ensure our crops our healthy and at their peak when we harvest them for you. Although it's true that sometimes we may have a crop failure (due  to pest,  weather or human error).  

WE grow a LOT Of different vegetables. If we have a crop failure in on crop we have many other crops to send your way. WE also will buy in crops as needed

For example, we ran out of garlic last fall but bought in some organic garlic from a neighbour. 

No matter what , we fulfill your 15 credits of vegetables each week. Sometimes sending more value if we have a bumper crop.
